Hand Reaching Out

Human rights

To write, you have to feel committed. At least, I do.

What could be more important in today's world than human rights? But what are human rights?

According to the United Nations, human rights are "the inalienable rights of all human beings without distinction of any kind, such as race, sex, nationality, ethnic origin, language, religion or other status. Human rights include the right to life and liberty. They imply that no one shall be held in slavery, that no one shall be subjected to torture. Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression, to work to education and so on. We all have the right to exercise our human rights on an equal footing and without discrimination."

That's it! But these rights are scorned, marginalized, flouted... because they are the worst enemy of what makes humans ambivalent, namely an insatiable quest for more, an insatiable quest for power, an insatiable quest for sex and money.

So we have to talk about it, and make sure that every drop of water enables these rights and humanity to progress.

My books are novels based on real stories. Stories that have touched me deeply. These stories have found their way into my neural network (not just my brain, but somewhere deep inside my soul).

Through these books, often written in a frenzy to tell a story, to challenge your ideas and opinions, I hope to share and inspire you to fight for these human rights.

With great humility, I thank you in advance for your reading and I hope these stories will bring you happiness too.
